參賽資格

  • 參賽者需為持有有效香港永久性居民身份證或香港居民身份證的人士。

  • 徵件截止當日 (2022/6/30),參賽者必須年滿18歲。

  • 所有參賽者必須了解和同意遵守香港總商會(以下簡稱「主辦機構」)及亞洲專業攝影師協會(以下簡稱「合作夥伴」)所訂下的比賽條款和細則。

  • * 每名參賽者可選擇參加「香港商業風貌」或/及「香港商業人文」組別,並於各組別遞交最多五張相片。

  • 主辦機構和合作夥伴的僱員、評選團的成員及其直系親屬均不可參賽。


作品提交

  • 參賽作品必須於徵件期結束日前三年內在香港拍攝(2019/4/1 - 2022/6/30期間內),並且是未曾發表、出售或參加過其他比賽的原創作品。比賽作品中不可以含有任何產品或公司的廣告成分。

  • 參賽作品須全為參賽者本人之獨自創作。所有作品不得侵犯任何第三者的權利,包括但不限於知識產權、版權、肖像權、保密和隱私權等。參賽者須保證其所提交的作品不侵犯上述及此類權利,並承擔所有法律責任,以及因違反法律和法規而引致的任何訴訟和賠償。主辦機構、合作夥伴、媒體夥伴、贊助商、支持機構及有關單位拒絕負上因使用和發表參賽作品而引致的任何法律糾紛或責任,而參賽者須賠償因為參賽作品違反第三方權利所招致的全部費用和損失。

  • 參賽者可以自由選擇任何能表達比賽主題的元素,並提交一個中文或/和英文的標題。 參賽者可同時遞交一段不超過130字的中文或英文的作品說明,闡述相片主題。

  • 參賽作品的格式必須為8百萬像素或以上、大小不超過10MB的JPEG或JPG檔案。比賽不接受使用非比賽官方網站線上系統的方式提交作品。

  • 參賽者可以輕微編輯作品,例如刪除斑點或適度的相片裁剪或調整照片的亮度和顏色飽和度,但不能修改照片的構圖內容。若經查覺,該作品將喪失得獎資格。

  • 比賽不接受以電腦制作、合成或含有水印的照片。主辦機構、合作夥伴和評審團有權懷疑及拒絕接受任何曾經或可能被修改的問題作品。

  • 參賽作品必須於截止日期前遞交。檔案一經網上提交,在任何的情況下都不能更替。

  • 參賽者保有其參賽作品的版權。同時,參賽者授權利予主辦機構、合作夥伴、媒體合作夥伴、贊助商、支持機構及有關單位在任何宣傳材料、媒介和場合上發布和展示獲獎作品,而事前不需要向參賽者作出通知和繳付任何版權費用。

  • 參賽作品不得含有任何具猥褻、挑釁、毀謗、情色、暴力、種族歧視性或其他任何引人厭惡或不合宜之內容,主辦機構得自行判斷並排除該作品之參賽資格。

  • 參賽者有責任保持誠信和維持比賽的正面形象。主辦機構有絕對酌情權接受或拒絕任何申請。任何被懷疑違反比賽條款及細則的作品,將會被取消參賽資格。如有任何爭議,主辦機構將保留最終決定權。

  • 就選拔得獎者而言,評審委員會擁有最終決定的權力。主辦機構亦保留權力,可以取消得獎者的資格,以及收回或撤銷任何已頒發的獎項而無需賦予得獎者任何追討賠償的權利。

  • 如中、英文版本有任何歧義,應以英文版本為準。


關於使用無人機系統所拍攝之相片

  • 有鑑於參賽者使用無人機系統拍攝相片越趨普及,主辦機構特設有關規則,以提醒參賽者必須以負責任角度拍攝該類型作品。

  • 參賽作品若以無人機系統所拍攝,必須確保符合拍攝當地之無人機系統安全操作法規或指引(以該作品當年度之法規或指引為準),否則主辦機構有權取消其資格。

  • 參賽作品必須保留該張作品拍攝時的衛星定位資料,若主辦機構要求出示該作品衛星定位資料而無法提供時,則主辦機構有權取消其資格。


取消或中止競賽之權利

  • 若本競賽因任何理由而無法依照計畫運行,如電腦病毒之感染擴散、程式漏洞、電腦蠕蟲、木馬程式、阻斷服務攻擊、非正當影響行為、非經許可之干涉、詐欺、技術事故,或其他任何主辦機構無法控制之緣由,對競賽之管理、安全性、公正性、廉潔性、或正常運作產生侵害或影響時,主辦機構有權獨立判斷,淘汰試圖以非正當手段影響賽程之個人參賽者,或取消、終止、修改或中止本次競賽。若主辦單位經決議取消或終止本次競賽,於檔案管理及內部作業所需的範圍外,主辦機構將不再持有參賽作品之任何權利。


免責聲明

  • 主辦機構、合作夥伴、媒體合作夥伴、贊助商、其他支持機構及有關單位將不會就參賽作品的錯誤、遺漏、刪除、被盜、毀壞和未經授權使用或被修改等承擔任何責任。

  • 參賽者所提供的個人及其他資料只會被用作登記報名、統計、聯絡及宣傳之用。



Terms & Conditions

Eligibility

  • An entrant must be a valid Hong Kong Identity Card holder (permanent/ non-permanent resident).

  • An entrant must be aged 18 or over by June 30,2022.

  • All entrants should understand and abide by the terms and conditions of the competition organized by the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce (“Organiser”) in partnership with the PPAC Professional Photographers Asia (“Project Partner”).

  • Each entrant can participate in one or both the categories "Hong Kong Business Cityscape" or "Hong Kong Business Culture". Each entrant can submit a maximum of five photographs in each category.

  • Employees of the Organiser and Project Partner, Judging Panel members and their immediate families are not eligible to enter the competition.


Submissions

  • A submission must be an original photograph taken by the entrant in Hong Kong SAR within 3 years before the deadline of the entry period (in the period between 2019/4/1 - 2022/6/30), which has not been sold, published or entered in other competitions. No advertising of products or companies is allowed.

  • The photograph, in its entirety, must be a single work of original material taken by the entrant. All images must not infringe the rights of any third parties, including but not limiting to intellectual property rights, copyrights, rights of portrait, confidentiality and privacy. In submitting any photograph, the entrant warrants that it does not infringe any such rights. Entrants will bear all legal liabilities and be responsible for any litigations and compensations arising from the breach of law and regulations. The Organiser, project partner, media partners, sponsors, supporting organizations and related parties disclaim any legal disputes or liabilities of using and publishing the photographs, and entrants shall indemnify the Organiser, project partner, media partners, sponsors, supporting organizations and related parties against any losses they might suffer as a result of any photographs that entrants submit breaching third party rights.

  • Entrants can choose any element to depict the themes. A photo’s title must be provided in either English or Chinese, or preferably in both languages. A photo caption is optional, but it should not be more than 130 characters or 130 English words.

  • An entry must be in JPEG format(.jpg)and 8 Megapixels or above. The size of each photo shall not exceed 10 MB. Only online entries to the official website/page will be eligible and no printed or film submissions will be accepted.

  • Entrants may minimally edit the images, remove spots, crop or adjust brightness and colour saturation of photographs, but not manipulate the content. Computer generated images or composite photos, and watermarks on photographs are not accepted. The Organiser, Project Partner and Judging Panel reserve the right to reject any photographs which they suspect may have been manipulated. Any changes to the original photograph not itemized here are unacceptable and will render the photograph ineligible for a prize.

  • Submissions must be received before the closing date. No substitutions will be allowed under any circumstances once the original entry is submitted for competition.

  • The entrants retain the copyright of their image(s). By entering the competition, entrants grant the right to the Organiser, Project Partner, media partners, sponsors, supporting organizations and related parties to publish and exhibit the winning photographs on any publicity materials, means and events. Prior consent from entrants is not required and no copyright royalty shall be paid to the entrants.

  • The photograph must not, in the sole and unfettered discretion of the Organiser, contain obscene, provocative, defamatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable or inappropriate content.

  • Entrants are responsible for maintaining the integrity and the positive image of the competition. The decision to accept or decline any applications shall be at the sole discretion of the Organiser. Any entries that the Organiser suspects are in violation of the terms and conditions will be disqualified, and the Organiser reserves the right of final decision in case of any dispute.

  • In terms of selecting winners, the decision of the Judging Panel is final. The Organiser however reserves the right to disqualify any winners and to withdraw or revoke any awards and prizes so granted, without entitling the winners to any compensation therefore.

  • In case of any discrepancy between the English version and Chinese version of the Competition Document, the English version shall prevail.


About Photographs that are utilising Drone / Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS)

  • Given the increasing trend in utilising Drone / UAS in photography, the Organiser has included the following guidelines, to remind the entrants to submit photographs of this type taken in a responsible manner.

  • Photographs taken with Drone / UAS need to be in full compliance with local aviation laws or guidelines (published in the same year of the photograph when it was taken). Otherwise, the Organiser reserves the right to disqualify entries and/or contestants.

  • Entrants may be asked to provide the GPS information for the Drone / UAS photographs submitted to the contest. The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify entries and/or contestants who are unable to provide the required information.

Right To Cancel or Suspend Competition

  • If for any reason the competition is not capable of running as planned, due to, for example, infection by computer virus, bugs, worms, trojan horses, denial of service attacks, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Organiser that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this competition, Organiser reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual(s) who tamper with the entry process, and/or to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Contest. If Organiser elects to cancel or terminate the competition, Organiser will not retain any rights in the submitted photographs beyond the extent required for file management or internal administration.

Disclaimer

  • The Organiser, Project Partner, media partners, sponsors, supporting organisations and related parties assume no responsibility or liability for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, theft or destruction, or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries.

  • All personal data and information provided by entrants will be used for the purposes of enrolment, statistical use, correspondence and publicity only.
